Abstract This paper proposes a new high-performance Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) for image and signal processing applications. Generally, DCT has been developed in wide range of applications such as compression motion detection. However, the high complexity required have effectively minimized practical utilization DCT. A New mathematical derivation is achieved this with purpose to reduce its speed up processing.
